What to do in an emergency off-campus?

Preparing for an emergency before you go is crucial. If you do experience an emergency while you are off-campus, contact local emergency services first, and then U of A contacts below.

  1. Contact local emergency services in the area.
  2. Contact Protective Services 24 hours a day:
    • Phone: 780‑492‑5050 (collect calls accepted; long distance costs will be reimbursed)
  3. Contact your emergency contacts to update them on your current status.
