Writing hour for graduate students
Graduate Writing Hour is a weekly, in-person drop-in program designed to help graduate students build effective and sustainable writing habits. The program offers a structured, low-pressure environment focused on generating new writing without the expectation of immediate editing or revision. Participants complete short 200-word writing sprints to build momentum and make steady progress on their academic projects. Each session begins with goal setting and ends with a brief check-in to reflect on progress. Graduate Writing Hour also fosters a supportive writing community where students can share challenges, stay accountable, and develop healthier writing practices.
