Service offered by U of A Students' Union (UASU)

The Landing is a U of A Students' Union (UASU) service on North Campus that supports 2SLGBTQ+ students, as well as their friends, family, and allies. The service promotes gender equity, inclusion, and community through peer supportive listening, drop-in space, identity-based programs, advocacy, education, and volunteer opportunities. The Landing operates from the Students' Union Building (SUB) and also provides online community and support through social media.

What to Expect

Students can expect a respectful, confidential, and inclusive space. Trained peer volunteers offer supportive listening and referrals during posted hours. No appointment is needed for drop-in, and support is free and student-centered.
