Service offered by U of A Students' Union (UASU)

SUBprint is a full-service printing facility located on the lower level of the Students’ Union Building (SUB) at the University of Alberta. It offers student-friendly pricing and convenient while-you-wait service to students, faculty, staff, campus departments, local businesses, and the public. SUBprint provides high-quality digital printing in black and white or full colour, supporting both small and large quantity orders. Services include printing and photocopying, binding, cutting, lamination, and other finishing options to produce professional results. The shop also specializes in large-format printing from 24” to 60” wide, making it ideal for academic posters, research presentations, signage, and banners. Banner stands are also available. As a University of Alberta preferred supplier, SUBprint accepts University speedcodes as well as cash, debit, and credit. SUBprint also produces official University of Alberta coursepacks sold through the Bookstore, supporting teaching and learning across campus

How to Access

There are three ways to submit your print job to SUBprint: online, email, and in-person.

What to Expect

Friendly, in-person printing support during posted hours. Many standard jobs are completed while you wait; large or specialty orders may take longer. Expect clear pricing, dependable quality, and helpful staff to guide you through print and finishing options.

Special Conditions

Preferred file formats are PDF, Word, JPEG, and PowerPoint, although SUBprint can accept most types of files including, Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Email submissions without thorough instructions will have printing held until pickup.
