Request UAPS peace officers at a university event
As the primary provider of security services at the University of Alberta, U of A Protective Services's Peace Officers can provide special duty services at a variety of U of A functions and events. On or in relation to university property, University Peace Officers have the authority to enforce select Provincial Acts, and may issue provincial violations, enact university policy & procedures, and arrest any person they find committing a criminal offience.
What to Expect
A quote for your event will be sent within 3 working days of form submission. A 25% surcharge will apply to all requests with less than 10 working days' notice. Requests are processed on a first come, first serve basis, and are not guaranteed.Cost
$95 per hour per Peace Officer, with a minimum of 3 hours. UAPS will assess risk and determine the appropriate staffing. Other fees may apply.Special Conditions
