Request permission to fly drones on campus

Risk Management & Insurance supports the U of A community to comply with Transport Canada Regulations and university policies around all drone flights on U of A campuses. Requirements and restrictions vary based on factors including location, drone size, and the purpose of the flight.

How to Access

1. Review the information on this webpage to learn more about drone flight restrictions and whether or not permission is required.
2. If required, complete the online submission form, ideally at least ten business days before your flight date.
