Request a transcript

The University of Alberta provides official academic transcripts for current and former students through secure digital and hard copy options. Transcripts can be requested online using Bear Tracks to be mailed or access through MyCreds. Requested transcripts can be sent to students or authorized third parties such as employers or institutions. Official transcripts are issued in the student’s legal name and are released only once all outstanding university accounts are cleared. Processing timelines may be affected during university closures, though digital delivery remains available.

Service Offerings

  • Official digital transcripts (MyCreds)
  • Official paper transcripts (mail delivery or in-person)
  • Transcripts sent to third parties
  • Transcripts with additional documentation
  • Instructions on accessing unofficial transcripts through Bear Tracks

How to Access

  2. Pay applicable fees and ensure all financial holds are cleared.
  3. Transcript is processed and delivered digitally or by mail.
