Internship & work experience programs

Internships and work experience programs allow students to explore career options, apply classroom learning in real-world settings, and develop transferable skills. Opportunities vary by faculty, department, and degree program and may be coordinated through academic units, the Career Centre, or external partners. Programs can be paid or unpaid, for academic credit or professional experience, and offered in-person, virtual, or hybrid formats across multiple sectors.
