Service offered by U of A Students' Union (UASU)

The Reusable Dish Program (RDP) provides reusable dishes and cutlery for campus events and programs. It supports waste reduction by offering food-safe plates, bowls, cups, utensils, and serving items for short-term use. The service is free for University of Alberta-affiliated users and available to external organizations for a small fee.

How to Access

1. Book in advance through the Reusable Dish Program (RDP) Order form.
2. Pick up at InfoLink Desk (Lower Level Students' Union Building) after receiving confirmation (5 business days).
3. When complete, rinse all items then return to 0-78 Students' Union Building (SUB).

Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

What to Expect

Orders must be booked in advance and are confirmed within 5 business days. Users are responsible for counting, rinsing, and returning items on time to avoid fees. Service is reliable during operating hours and supports sustainable campus events.

  • One week notice for under 100 items
  • Two weeks notice for over 100 items
  • Deposit required for large orders
